Los Angeles, CA (August 2011) - Jeanette Thulin Claesson, the daughter of traveling evangelists, The Thulin Family band and sister of Jonathan Thulin, will launch her debut album with Dream Records / Universal Christian Music Group, I Will Wait, on September 13, 2011. Often described as soulful, heart-touching, and powerful, Jeanette's emphasis in songwriting on this album is on the lyrics and the importance of conveying the love of Christ and changing lives for the glory of God. Her first single, "Story" has already made it's impact on TV as it has aired on the HILLS on MTV several times. It's a refreshing uplighting song sure to delight everyone who hears it.
A songwriter at heart, Jeanette started composing at the age of 12 and over the last three decades has worked with ensembles, choirs, and worship teams both in Sweden and in the US. To date, Jeanette's catalog totals over 250 songs, many of which have been recorded and are being used by different artists, churches, and choirs around the world.
"For many years I wrote songs for my family and other artists, and sang BGVs for others. I've always loved producing, creating groups and harmonies with different people; teaching parts to smaller groups and choirs is somewhat of a passion. This project is different from anything I've ever done before, because it is my first solo project and I am super excited to finally get to share my story through the songs I write. This debut album features several different styles of music, just like life which changes, has its ups and downs, is unpredictable and it doesn't always sound the same. This is my story..." - Jeanette Thulin Claesson
